Easy Way into Karazhan Catacombs (Not Crypts) 7.0

This area is NOT the same area as Karazhan Crypts.


Karazhan Catacombs is a new area added in 7.0. It will be used for some classes artifact quests but you can access it right now fairly easily.

This is what the entrance looks like










You can kill yourself whether it be via character stuck, sacrifical dagger or any other method and ghost run through the gate.







PS: Do not die inside of the "Karazhan Catacombs" zone. You won't be able to release and will have to have a friend come res you.

Ugh and I got through the gate by logging out before it and loggin in pressing W to walk Took me 15min haha this is way easier !

Fixed? When you release spirit you're instantly alive at the graveyard now.

I had the same issue but then tried a different strategy. If you die maybe a foot or two outside of the entrance to the Catacombs you can still ghostwalk through the door and rezz on the other side.
