Use Epic Manual's from ashran in duels in stormshield

I keep my Manual of Spell Reflection active in stormshield, only tested on warrior. Havn't tried going places. Have fun, and see if theirs other abuses of the manuals.

It's working as intented, no exploit here. The item does say "Only usable in Ashran". Technically being in Warspear or Stormshield you are still in Ashran. Look at map and it will tell you that you are in Ashran.

I think this is a nice find, and it's not really working as intended, because it's intended to be used in the battle area ashran, not the continent / zone itself. +rep

True, though some of the "Ashran-only" items massively glitched out when used in stormshield. There's a video somewhere of Swifty getting carried away by some birds and no-clipping through ashran proper.

I agree... I don't believe this is an exploit either. Blizzard knows about this already. Back in the Warlords Beta, there was a bug that allowed people to walk out of Ashran with the Manual buffs still active. It worked in any zone but you couldn't use them unless you were in the Ashran battleground area.
Blizzard fixed this simply by removing the buff upon entering a different zone but Ashran. I highly doubt they would forget about Warspear and Stormshield, given as alot of people were abusing the bug back in beta. The reason it works is simply because those two areas are in Ashran. Sure you can't use the items there, but blizzard allows the buff to remain as long as you are in Ashran.

These books do work in Warspear/Stormshield as they are technically part of Ashran, but one the the books that is a bit funny to play with is the paladin The Jailer's Libram it will actually send the person you're dueling to the Ashran jail in the battle.

Good point about this being beta. I believe there was an interesting glitch which made it to live when you used Leblanc's recorder-apparently the birds no-clipped people through the walls.

Back when there was no flying in Draenor, you could loot and use the epic Druid book (it allows the use of flight form in ashran) then just fly out of ashran and you wouldn't lose the buff. You could fly out of stormshield too; I flew all the way to Nagrand.
