GodMode - Invis to other players and mobs dont attack you!

Quest required: Through the looking glass


Accept quest and then wait untill dungeon pops - Click object to start cinimatic and welcome to god mode - You cannot kill anything but you can still die from fall damage and drowning / fatigue


Your immune to all mobs and other players cant see you. If you continue with the dungeon you STILL get the XP but you cannot kill anything.


To get out of god mode just logout and in.

Pretty sure this works with any quest that has an in game cinematic.
Had this happen to an alt doing the Tanaan intro quest, clicked the flag to build the base, and entered the dungeon queue at the same time, couldn't attack anything inside or outside.

Yup same effect so anything that triggers a cinamatic whilst accepting a Dungeon Q or BG Que = GodMode

Are you completely phased or just invisible?
Can you buff/heal group and raid members? An invincible healer would be pretty amazing.

You can only target - If you try and cast you get met by "Invalid Target"

carry the well-known bombing run quest into a bg, let a friend or an alt of yours share it with your (main-) toon. this way you can get it yourself and eventually do it

Wow this is crazy! It's funny, I've tried everything with that quest. Once I saw it, I knew it had to be something and I ran multiple of my tests to see if I can get it to break and nothing came of it. I tried porting and everything. Maybe I missed something, or they changed something in the game? I'm not sure but what a great find. Haven't seen an exploit on this forum like that in awhile so nice find. Would have liked a video or something to accompany it but anyway, cheers on the find!

Me too. A lot of stuff has changed from patch to patch or even between them this expansion.
