Money Dupe - Possibly

Hello. I found this out accidentally. I'm not sure if it's intended or not.
If you start the Faded Treasure Map quest at the Darkmoon Faire (the quest that had the recent exploit for infinite tickets) and navigate to the first clue (the Barnacle-Covered Bag), loot the bag while in a raid group. You will loot the Damp Note, but the quest progress bar for looting it won't appear. This means that you can re-loot it again and sell it for 26 copper (a fortune, I know). Maybe this can be automated, where you sell these after accumulating them?

Copper dupes are probably not automatable. The problem is that you are still talking about very small quantities of gold even if you leave the game on overnight. Perhaps someone could run 100 apps simultaneously or something but I tend to doubt the practicality of that.

There are actually a few copper dupes in the game Blizzard definitely know about.

That said, as tman noted, this exploit has other possibilities.

Nonono, not repost, has nothing to do with it.

The method Kaizuken posted is fixed. It was a lootable item that has been turned into a quest reward. This can no longer be exploited. While this here can. The outcome however is really tiny, but like mentioned possibly can be used for other ideas.

What does not seem to work with Blizzards way of how quests work since 6.0 (?) is the automated quests that get progressed in your questlog. Every item that you then have to loot which involves that kind of popup, might be exploitable. You can find it out for yourself by checking the entire game for such quests that you do not hand in directly, but are completed with the variation provided by the questlop completion-popup.
