Small 85-90 Mage exploit (I think)

So I decided to level my mage a bit yesterday, and needed some gear. I got two pieces of Firehawk set (helm and gloves), and started my leveling thing with quests and dungeons. I noticed that the set bonus, which summons a mirror image to cast fireball, does a cool 6-7k damage. Compare this to my arcane blast with 4 stacks of arcane charges, that does 3kish and crits for maybe 4.5, its a nice boost. Or my ice lance crits, that are ~2.5k, and its double the damage. Pretty sure this isn't intended, and if you're a mage whos either questing or dungeoning, I think itll add some nice dps to your array. Anyways feel free to try it out and input your thoughts.

Ok so let me get this straight.... If you equip a two piece of the firehawk set it summons a mirror image of you which is intended as it is a set bonus... And it is casting fireball which can easily hit for 4-5k non crit.... and this is an exploit how?

They didn't nerf the damage of the mirrored image... That's the exploit.

If I remember correctly the mirror image used to hit for 70-80k correct?

What the hell is your problem? He's trying to contribute with completely valid information. Considering someones damage at levels 85-90 this is a little less than huge.
