Bypass castrandom macro restrictions

Some time ago blizzard implementd restrictions to castrandom macros. Before the restrictions you could've binded every skill you have in your spellbook to one button. There is so many ways you can abuse this exploit. Some of you maybe remember. So here's how it works: add reset=1 to your castrandom macro and the it work perfectly.

IF you opened your eyes and read the OP you would see he explains that if you add reset=1 to your random macro you can use every skill

Its not an exploit, its just a macro with some modifiers like

/cast rapid fire, blood fury
/use trinket [modified:ctrl] tranq shot
/cast kill command, arcane shot [modified:alt] silencing shot

probably sound something like that, havnt looked through all the vid for what hes using, but man he makes some great vids

Since 3.2, /castrandom selects one spell from the list on first use and tries to cast it until it is successfully cast. It cannot be used anymore to create "use first ready spell" macros.

/castrandom Hearthstone,Astral Recall,Scroll of Recall

Cool bypass for sure, but does anybody mind explaining to me why this would be useful? I can't really see any situation where casting a random spell would be beneficial..Or is it just for fun, in a LFR dungeon where you want to do nothing other then press 1 button?

So far my first attempts at this resulted in one ability used from the macro and then it stopped doing anything.

So its ok to be vague and give no explanation to what they are talking about, because we can google it? I don't think that's the goal here...

Your post gave more information and explained the specifics of the post better than the OP, that's the problem.

Sorry man but this is a useless post with no actual information. "A simple google search" is not an acceptable explanation and adding reset = 1 does not seem to do much for my macro, and I am a fairly comfortable macro and scripter.

I watched the youtube video and as a hunter myself was not really impressed with the player. He would have easily died to even 1800 rated players. as a BM hunter it is quite easy to do a simple macro for much of your pet damage. Essentially BM hunter is like a whack a mole boring spec. However, a good BM has his 1-button I-WIN high burst macro which you can technically just spam all much and be a mediocre player, of which is probably happening in this vid. Yes, you can even use some addons to chain a couple macros.

If you wish to actually contribute, post a full macro list example.

Since I don't see that and all I see is these really "vague" posts and indescript answers to every question I am going to say that this is useless.

You MUST show exact detailed instructions or else this is just rule violating and rep whoring.
