You are going to need 2 main items for this to work the Headdress of the First Shaman which is a rare artifact from orc archeology, and some deepstone oil. (optionally you could use anything that takes control of minion, like a minizep controller)

It's fairly simple to pull off, get on any flying mount (or high area) and jump off, while falling activate the Headdress and your character will float in midair for 1 minute or until you unequip the helm, while in
this state you can mount up and do any emotes and use most items, and when you get in a comfortable position just use the oil and you will permanently float, optionally instead of using this you could just activate the minizep controller and have the same effect (however since the minizep controller only lasts 5 minutes you'll need to reuse the headdress to remain in the air afterwards)

Unfortunately I do not have any footage of it to show, and to make it worse I can't use fraps to record to show it because at the moment I can't access my main computer (I'm posting all of this from my laptop) Though I have tested this as of 6/20/11 so It should still work if you try it

I can confirm this works. A key point is that upon the Spirit sight buff wearing out, you can get a tiny bit of movement before falling. Because it is usable indoors, as with Gnomish Gravity Well - Item - World of Warcraft I can see this being very handy for exploration.

The gravity well doesnt allow for horizontal movement, which without this item, makes it practically useless. Using the well a few times and then using the helmet to get stationary and then movement in one direction means you can get to high places even inside buildings.

A note however. Using the gravity well whilst afflicted by the spirit sight buff will result in a disconnect when the buff expires. Time the gravity well just after the spirit sight ends if you want to climb higher with the well

It doen't work. As priest I'm to alt+f4 and W while logging in.
