what you have to do:

1: Kill Balboa
Balboa - NPC - World of Warcraft
2: Summon the shardling he drops
3: Use your Hearthstone (only tried in Orgrimmar)
you should'nt see any other people now
4: Summon as many pets as you want, they fade away
5: Run to the frontgate untill you see your pets
6: Enjoy!

confirmed. Also noticed if you summon the same pet several times - you will get more copies of it Go create your own small family of your favorite pet

Okay your instructions are kind of confusing.

First off. If you summon the rockling, THEN hearth to wherever. You lose the pet, and are still unable to summon more than one pet. Are your instructions in the wrong order? After using your steps with no success, I can only assume you mean...

Also I am confused by the "you shouldn't see any other people now" Why shouldn't I see any more people?

Just tried this myself and the OP's instructions were perfect to the letter. The steps are:

1.) Kill Balboa
2.) Summon the shardling (DO THIS BEFORE YOU HEARTH)
3.) Hearth to Org (unknown if other places work
4.) DON'T MOVE. Start summoning pets/companions. They will disappear/fade out much like normal pets do. Don't worry, they will all reappear soon. If you want, you can summon the same pet multiple times for copies.
5.) Start moving and all your pets you summoned should appear and start following you. He just said "move to the front gate" so you would know to move in order to make them appear.

Be warned, doing this can cause WoW to lock up and hang for several seconds many, many times. You have not frozen the application; just give it time to respond

Allright, I did everything correct except Not moving before I started summoning pets. At least I think so anyways.

I don't really feel like trecking out to Azshara for the 3rd time today however so I won't be checking if it works or not.

I just did this on my server, I left an autofire controller on my Onyxian Whelpling for half an hour, Once I ran outside Org Gates I crashed, i Logged in and had over 1000 whelps following me spamming Deep Breath multiple times per second, I also managed to make EVERYONE in the immediate vicinity of me either Disconnect or drop to 1 frame rate.

Everyone in orgrimmar reported me and im most likely going to be banned for a long time for this.

I suggest you guys dont use this bug. Unless you dont care about being banned obv.



EDIT: Once you have all your pets out, clicking a new pet will not despawn your old pets, Hitting a load screen will though.
