Start logging out, then on 1 second you leave the BG.

When you login you will load the BG screen, but you will be in your city, no debuff.

May take 1-2 tries to get right.

Yes, but the other thread wasn't a macro.

I just tested this 3 times in a row, wrote out the macro exactly as he typed it. Worked every time.

it does work you need to adjust the logout part for your own latency.

Works on a similar concept as the shammy exploit to blow up your own faction using fire nova totem.

I counted my latency in, like this:

/logout
/in 20.05 /script LeaveBattlefield()

Worked to my friend too, even though he had way higher latency at the moment, anyway, +rep for you !
