Holy priest dont die with zoning

So the other day my friend was boosting me by running me through instances on his 70 holy priest.... when we got to SFK he had pulled until right after the bat boss when he realized that some of the mobs silence >_<. NOT GOOD.

We were on the ledge overlooking the entrance to SFK, he decided to ditch me and jump out of the instance onto the bridge below (The one that leads to the instance portal)

Well long story short, before he jumped off the mobs killed him as he was falling and Spirit of redemption:Spirit of Redemption - Spell - World of Warcraft was triggered.

The weird thing was.... after he zoned out and landed on the bridge below.... He was alive...

I hope this is helpful to someone. I will +Rep if someone tries using a mage portal while in spirit or redemption and returns the results.

The recap:
1. Be a holy priest
2. die and wait for Spirit of redemption to proc
3. Zone somehow
4. LIVE!

If anyone can test this with screen shots and/or video +rep for you! this could have some awesome uses, i also wanna see what happens to their durability.

I wish I would have had the presence of mind to take screenshots.... unfortunately I was kinda preoccupied with the 100 mobs now focusing their attention towards me >_<. He did not take durability damage BTW. But after checking combat logs it did say that he died.

Hm dunnow but try to queue in a BG, die as a holy priest, be in spirit form and go /afk . It's the same effect as zoning but then without the use of a portal.

i think if u jump out of the instance and they kill u as ur in the air ur body will keep moving until u hit the ground which if ur lucky will be outside of the instance. the whole living part im not sure of

Any zone-change if your dead will result in a living state after the zone-change.

Same as when you kill people on boats ,, after the zone-change they will be alive.

-- CONFIRMED ON LIVE SERVERS -- didn't intentionally do this but i died as i was zoning into an instance, redemption popped as i was hitting the instance, it auto loaded in, was alive when i came back.

kinda hard to replicate...really only got it buy fluke, nice find though =)
