[USELESS] More of a glitch than anything

So I found a way to see a skull opposing faction players level. Or at least their level range...

Requires lots of luck more than anything. And only applies to locks and hunters.

I was questing when i noticed a pet running up on a mod next to me, odd because i didnt see a player. I clicked on the pet wondering if i was going to get raped when what did i see? Level 70 cat.

Now, the weird thing is im level 45, so i shouldnt have seen that and, sure enough about 2 seconds later the nameplate level went to a skull. So i guess it works like, if you get in range of a pet and the player is out of your range you can quickly check the pets level, giving you an idea of the players level.


Like i said, completely useless, but everything i post gets deleted anyway, so i guess it doesnt matter...

It is usefull. Remember those pesky days where you as a low level always get ganked by lv 70? This is now your counter move! If you see that it is a lv 70 pet, RUN! You survive and you don't have to remember those pesky ganking days lol...

i play on a from australia so i get a bit of lag and noticed this quite awhile ago, but still, its nice to see it getting out there and other people finding out about it. Might save a few corpse runs

Yea. With this lag glitch my pet actually attacked and killed a low lvl when he wasnt pvp nor was it on a pvp server.

But when I played on my low-level I would just run as fast as I saw a skull
And if he's 70 you could usually tell by his full honor gladiator gear.

I always just look at the gear to try and tell their level. But this works a bit better than guessing. +rep <3
