use ur eye spell, walk around with it to aggro him...you wont have adds.

i haven't done this myself with my warlock.. but i know that it does work as i've been in groups with my pally often enough and pulled things this way

the add's do of course come from the normal boss fight, just not the original three.. +rep from me for letting this be known imo
