Easy Guild Charter Signing - Need 2 acc's

SIDENOTE: Haven't tested this after patch 2.3, i just recently went active again.

Ok basicaly we all know what a pain it can be to get people signing your charter realy quick. Ofc you can spam requests in a town or offer gold for signs but that can have some negative effects (reports,ignorelist, unsign after payment etc.).

So here is a little trick i came up with when TBC just went live and i kept using it till about 9 months ago.

Also some scammers might find this very handy to setup guilds quick without being in need of people to sign.

1. Account 1 = The account with the char you want to be gm with.
2. Account 2 = The "sign" account.

- Open up wow and login "account 1", login on your GM char and get a charter.

- Depending on what city/start area you prefer go to the nearest starting area. (i prefer getting the charter in OG and go south on my mount so i'd be amking lvl1 Trolls)

- Right click the charter so you see the request window. Make sure its the only window that is open. Never close this window! It will reset the signups (il explain later).

- Open up wow and login "account 2"

- Create a Character keeping in mind the starting area it will have and login.

- Alt-tab (or use windowed mode) to "account 1" and request a signature from "account 2"

- Alt-tab again and sign the charter, log out, and delete the char. (VERY IMPORTANT that you delete the char since you can only sign once per Account.)

- Make a new char with a different name, log in, sign, delete. (note: when you request a signature the "Account 2" will not see anyone on the charter. The charter will be completely unsigned for "Account 2")

- Repeat the steps untill your charter is fully signed on "account 1".

- Now go back to OG, without closing the window! Go to the charter NPC and click to hand over the charter.

As said before they might have patched this but i doubt so. I used this alot making scam guilds, funny name guilds, etc. Takes about 20 mins this way to make a guild. Have fun...

No it is not common sense since Blizzard clearly put some effort in preventing you to sign with muliple chars on a account.
When you create a account and sign with a character and DONT delete it you cant sign again.

Also a important step is to NEVER close the window or it will reset the signups.
Clearly makes this a routine to avoid blizzards bad efforts in preventing multiple sign on the same account.

Doesn't work anymore, when you click the npc it closes the charter window.

Well, It's really not that hard to get 10 people to sign.

In either case, if you guys ever do want to create a guild and can't get 10 people, there is an easier way.


Go to [removed] and make trial accounts. Just make them have quick easy username/password combos you can easily remember. Email doesn't matter, you don't have to verify your email (last time I checked at least)

Simply log on your main with the charter, go to a starting zone, and log on the trial accounts.

Google 'WoW free trial", it's not hard to find.

Obviously this person has not tried this before posting.
This does not work as signing guild charters are 1 per account for the same charter.
I've tried this myself 6 months ago.

Free trials can't sign charters. Found out last weekend when I was trying to get signatures for my bank character.

Trial Accounts Can Sign, I did it to get my Charter Full. =/ (This may not be usefull info but I was on US)

Yep, I did it not too long ago just to get my bank character the tabs + a neat tabard. I'm also on US.
