    [Quick Guide] How To Make Minor Patchupdates Playable

    Ok, so recently I came across a problem(minor or bigger?). I had downloaded a repack, and was about to do some "offline" developing. Though when I tried to log in it tells me that I have the wrong patch. I figured out that the repack was 3.0.8 while I had updated to 3.0.9. Now I will show you how I fixed it:

    1.
    Open Up your WoW Launcher. Then look in the top right corner. There you will see something like:
    "World of Warcraft v[patch numbers here(ex 3.0.9)] [Client Build number(ex 9551)]
    The 9551 is the number you will need. Remember it.

    2.
    Open up your logonserver file and search for:
    Code:
    <Client MinBuild = "XXXX"
            MaxBuild = "XXXX">
    Now you modify your client MaxBuild to the Client Number you previously found. Now your server will be able to accept people with the latest patch.

    NOTE
    Doing this will only make the server playable. This will not include the changes made in the patch. I also don't know if this will work with major patches ex: 3.0.0 - 3.1.0

    May the Force be with you
