First off, this guide is for people who had a mysql.exe service running while they uninstalled, which can cause issues like "Windows Cannot Create Mysql Service Error 0".
Pretty simple fix;
1. Go to srvinstw.exe: Download srvinstw.exe and download the srv. Virus scan: Virustotal. MD5: 7c9c0b9dfa9d82ad99d07a88c7f204b6 TrojWare.Win32.Downloader.Zlob.~AAA
Yes it has 1 detection of a virus, from Comdo (not well known) and I run mcafee and it all goes well, you don't have to trust this.
2. Run the software, run through it till you recieve a drop down menu. Simply type in "mysql" and it should scroll down to a mysql.exe. Click it and continue on.
Finally, it will continue on and remove the instance. You can now sucessfully run another mysql.exe service.
Why is this useful?
Many of the repacks now have built in (and have had) mysql. It is not programmed to go outside and use mysql2.exe or others. It strictly wants the mysql.exe service. This fix allows you to use it.
