every time i edit the config.wtf file in my world of warcraft folder and try to login to the server i set up, it links me back to the default realm address and i cant login to my server. How do i get around that, i still wish to play wow, its just i want to have a private server so i can just mess around on and kill npcs and stuff.

Make sure inside the realmlist.wtf file has the following inside

set realmlist ??????

???? means 127.0.0.1 , or your ip , or your dns
