2.2 Priavate Server help

Hey,I'm new to the whole Private Server scene,and I want to make one for me and my friend only.I see a lot of guides for 2.1 but is there any for 2.2 or how do you do a 2.2 one?

Jus do a 2.1 one, And patch it, Simple as

get a 2.1 server in a repack the go into your logon server config and chance the part where is sez client max build and make it 10000 so it works with all of the patches

Changing max build just makes it so people with 2.2 can connect... Changing the max build doesn't magicly spawn things

hmmmm,can you link me to 2.1 server guide and how to patch it?sorry,im a complete noob to private servers.

the thing is i tried that and it still didnt work -_- i dont think the repack's or w/e u usign cna get upto 2.2 yet Unless u making it ?your Self and what not
