[PQR] Bossqwerty's MOP Mage Profiles

Hey guys, some of you may remember me for my warrior profiles back in Cata. I play a mage now and I expect to have profiles done for all 3 specs that are as high of quality as my warrior profiles. As of now I have just finished making a frost profile, it's still in the early stages and has a lot of room for improvement. It uses all CDs, including alter time. I don't have nearly enough time for testing as I did back in cata so please leave feedback + suggestions here!

New build! This one includes an arcane profile, I'd call it an alpha but it performs very well. There will most definitely be some bugs in the arcane profile so post them here.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PROFILES TO WORK
Frost/Fire Reqs:

Scorch
Living Bomb
Invocation
Glyph of Fireblast

Notes: Left ctrl for evocation(hold it down)

Arcane:
Presence of Mind
Frost Bomb
Glyph of Mana Gem
Glyph of Fire Blast
You MUST have a "Brilliant Mana Gem" created and in your bags or the profile will stop
Rune of Power

Notes: The AoE Rotation will cast arcane explosion if you are within 10 yards of your currently selected target, otherwise it will perform AoE from a distance via Flamestrike, arcane barrage at 4 stacks, and fire blast + frost bomb. Left ctrl for Rune of Power(hold it down)

1 thing that changed is that if you use castspellbyid or PQR own then the game will freeze up.
I always use CastSpellByName(tostring(GetSpellInfo(12043))) but then you need to check if spell is ready.
Anyway i tried your and it froze up so cant give any more feedback then that

Thanks I'll check that out. I've been using the profile without any lock ups for most of the day, is that bug specific to certain versions of PQR or something?

well i havent followed the discussion that much cause it effects "other people". As you said your profile works for you cause you use your spell ids but other player have other spell id and that makes it lock up.

im using this at the petfreeze ability
UnitIsUnit("target","mouseover")
so basically it wont fire if you arnt mouseover your target. Had to many freezez at walls

This is a redundant post from the main thread but welcome back. I look forward to trying out your mage profile as soon as I get my alt mage leveled as well. Any chances of you working on a dps warrior profile as well? I'm pretty certain several of us warrior fanatics are looking to donate to for your time and expertise if you're able to develop another incredible warrior profile for the community!

I no longer have access to a warrior, so if the rotation has changed drastically I most likely will not be updating the warrior profile. If it's still pretty much the same with maybe only 1 or 2 new abilities in the mix I'll definitely look into updating my old cata profile.

Welcome back! PQR just got a little bit more legendary (again) with your return, I'm sure there are a lot of lost warriors wondering what they are going to do, those scripts and all that work got you purple. I'll be the first to say that I'll loan you a decent warrior if you ever feel like updating your warrior scripts, anytime, anywhere. Posting in a Boss thread.
