Do you have the fasmdll_managed.dll file in the same directory as CoolFish?
Hey Unknown
Yes I have fasmdll_managed.dll in there, using Dx11 and running as admin and also running Wow 32
I have basically tried everything and made sure everything is correct, yet it wont attach

I ran into a situation tonight when I tried using a couple of new fishing hats I looted recently, Hightfish Cap, and Tentacled Hat. While trying out these two hats, I received an error while applying a Lure. I received an error stating 'You must equip that item to use it'.
I first thought it was due to the new fishing pole I was using... Ephemeral Fishing Pole, but that wasn't the cause of the error.
Turns out, once I re-equipped Nat's Hat, it applied the lure.
Tentacled Hat - Item - World of Warcraft
Hightfish Cap - Item - World of Warcraft
Any suggestions on what I could do in order to use the +100 fishing skill hats? I also have the +200 Lure 'Worm Supreme' in lieu of Nat's Hat
Thanks in advance
Just Put Nat's Hat in a Bag slot behind your Worm Supreme Lures. The Bot will always try to apply a Lure based on it's place in your Bag. ( It checks your first bag and then the Slots in this Bag from 1 to 18 for example) Unknown is looking for some solutions to choose the Lure, you want to use. Just wait.
mmm keep on getting double posts

So what about my question about the logs and chat?
Hi!
I'm currently having trouble getting started with my bot.
I've followed all your instructions but when I'm suppose to start the bot, it says that I should attach a process but there's nothing to choose from. I've got the 32-bit version running but I cant attach it. Help please!
Edit: "[INFO] It seems you are running a 64bit version of WoW. CoolFish does not support that version. Please start the 32bit version instead."
Appears even though I am running 32bit.

This fishbot is by far the one I use the most. Currently fishing with an unnecessary 1100 Fishing skill, and it's so nice to have surplus fish set aside for fishing dailies. Even have some set aside for at least 20 guildies per day.
The bot simply works, and that's all that matters. Thanks for updating it for Warlords!
Oh, I have not seen the new hats. This is likely a bug on my part. I check the inventory to see if it contains any type of lure (hat's included). If it find one it will try to use it. See the quote below by Aurielqt to fix the problem with a temporary work around until I fix the bug.
This will work. Either put Nat's hat in a higher bag (Backpack = 0 and it increases from 1-4) and it will use Worm Supreme first. It looks in bag order. I will fix this issue in the next release though.
I asked if you could post your full log file for me, but more system specs could also potentially help me:
What operating system are using? 64 bit or 32 bit Operating system?
How do you know the 2013 C++ redistributable is installed properly? Can you post a screen shot of your Add/Remove programs to show me? Can you check the link on the first page to make sure?
I might be able to create a utility to check these kinds of things ahead of time, but I can't create it instantly. I have many issues to fix and only so much time, so I am trying my best to help with your issue. I just need more assistance in diagnosing it.
I have an issue on github opened to track this fix. There is no way to turn off the printing things to the chat at the moment. I will take a look at it in the next release.
This means you are in fact running a 64bit version of WoW. It looks at all of your open processes and checks for "Wow.exe" and "Wow-64.exe" These are the two different versions. Please check your WoW installation folder and delete or rename the 64bit exe file and manually start the Wow.exe instead. The option in the Battle.net launcher to use the 32 bit version does not seem to work.

still doesn't work for directx9
I've had this bot in use for quite a few months now and I just love it. It was one of my first bots, and is still my favorite. I absolutely hate Hate HATE fishing manually, but love getting the achievements and rewards (mounts, minipets, Nat Pagle rep) so this bot is a godsend. Never had an issue with it. Always attaches properly and gets the job done. Simple to figure out and quick to start/stop as needed for whispers or if people get too near and I want to move off to a more private fishing spot.
Sorry to sound like a paid endorsement here, but I just wanted to let the creator know that their work is much appreciated on this end!
Nm, im a dumbass lol
