If PQI was the problem (I don't think it is personally) then it would be fairly easy modify it to sit this outside of WoW, would mean tabbing to change settings but thats how HB works anyway.

The way PQR works it would be pretty easy to detect if they wanted to server side, everyone just assumed that Blizzard weren't interested in doing so due to the fact the economy was not being exploited (in any serious way, such as farming bots etc). PQR IMO is probably dead, Xhelper has already said he won't be updating it. If people want to continue using automated routines that work in a similar way to PQR there are plenty of (more secure) alternatives for little (or no) outlay. I wouldn't trust free alternatives though now Blizz are clearly onto these types of automation bots. Personally I'd suggest a more complete solution from one of the leading bot developers

I lost my mage with the worlds second atiesh great staff scarb lord and multiple glad titles and pretty much every tgc mount and pet in the game. I never thought they would ban for this. I should have known better. FML
you realize you didnt lose the pets, mounts and achievements, right? unless you want to quit.

just buy another wow and stick into that battlenet account.

eu used pqr with pqi till moved to hb in september. NOT BANNED. they have to add something to detect pqr from that date. also used pqr few times when there was updates and hb was down. so they gather data in some strange way and in all it was delayed ban based on gathering data since few months.

From what I can tell of having 3 accounts of which 1 received a 72h ban and the other 2 received no ban, Blizzard must have implemented something between mid-October and early November that caught PQR/PE.

I can agree with that. The only thing thats puzzling to me as with others is the manner in which they handed out bans/72 sus. My main account was permabanned only used pqr at raid time twice a week never any pvp at all. Used pqr on other accounts along with hb for farming, leveling etc still no pvp and they got 72 hour suspensions.

I am in the US and had 2 accounts 72 hour suspended. I used the bot since the first day it was posted on every account (12+) and every class that I have for pve and pvp and tried every pet battle, profession, and mmr tanking addon. So of the 12+ accounts I had active, all of which had at least 1 character that used PQR regularly, 2 get 72 hour suspension and none of the others have been touched so far.

Explain to me how that makes any sense?

All this ban is fu*c*ing bullshi*, ppl use bot 24/7 and get 72h suspend rest use it 2h per day and get perm is so random i think.

I dont wanna say that bad they ban ppl but i dont understand how they ban... cuz ppl using it all the time get 72h and for example ppl use it ocasionaly get perm i think that not fair... ban all or dont even bother.

    1: US
    2: PQR/PQI, Honorboddy
3: Jan 22 - License banned (only other ban was because I purchased a cheap mount off I assume was a farmer but I used it not sold it - ban was lifted)
    4: PC, WIN7
5: PQR/PQI - all the time. HB (PQR running also) to farm mines + Herbs only (filled bags then log out x1 ea session approx. 4 times a week)

Since returning after a six month break, I came back to play Pandaria xpac with a new viewpoint on the game. I wanted to enjoy the gme and take in all the scenary and action around me as the reason I left was I spent the previous 5-6 years staring at my action bars and addons instead of enjoying the game itself. So caught up in being successful / Best dps in raids I reflected and found I didn't really enjoy the game itself. I found PQR here and decided to use HB to farm solely for gold I required to buy gear and gather mats for things I need/want only. (The most gold I have ever possessed is just over 200k).

May I say thanks to Xelper and HB I have enjoyed the last year or so more than the previous 5-6 and taken in so much more of the game than ever before.

Regardless if they lift my Ban or not. Thank you Xelper very much for your program you have shared with us all. My wife also thanks you as this Ban, if not lifted will finally help me to never return to Blizzard again.

What about the poor ****s who are perma banned? Is blizzard randomly throwing out 72 hr and permas? Is there any rhyme or reason?
I got a 72hr on my main. But if it makes you feel any better i've lost about 30 accounts over the last 2 years.
