I've been a user of pqr since early catalog and I dont understand how all of a sudden I finally get banned for it.

What about the poor ****s who are perma banned? Is blizzard randomly throwing out 72 hr and permas? Is there any rhyme or reason?

I wouldn't call us "poor bastards", we knew we shouldn't be using it! But no, there doesn't seem to be a pattern. I was permabanned unless they relent.

The banwave is targeting users who use PQR mainly. They're really cracking down on it, due to the extensive use of PQR in PvP as well.

Edit: In regards to the 72 hr/perma, it's due to how extensively a person used PQR, and if they've been banned prior to this banwave for third party programs as well.

I was perma-banned and I used PQR maybe three times a month at the most. I wasn't ever banned or warned before this.

Clearly your logic doesn't hold, as I used PQR VERY INFREQUENTLY, yet was still perma'd

I wish there was a reason why so many are getting a light slap on the wrist, and then again many people like myself lose their accounts FOREVER, all the ****ing time spent GONE

I agree with you 100%, however, how would we even bring the attention to the GMs about how we, as players, know that others are getting a slap on the wrist and some, like myself, are getting perma'd, if we're all playing dumb in our appeals?

It does suck, but we all know exactly what could happen and we still risked our accounts to do so. Im not really sure I even care I got banned

and pqr used it ones

Just to clarify my last post: I want to know if anyone has been banned for using PQR without have ever installed PQI. Many people who have just been posting "PQR" may not be including it.

Me! only using PQR without PQI.

That actually will be interesting to see if they do post such a thread, especially with their already declining subscription base.

It may look bad to investors come quarterly report time if they have to say that they lost 200,000 subscribers and then lost another 510,000 accounts to bans. If I were an investor, I'd be scratching my head at why they removed so many paying customers.
