Its funny you spread this bullshit message, based on an 'unknown' Niantic source about things you shouldn't do as If Niantic would let you know their detection methods.
Some of these things like not catching mons from a large distance within a 24 hour period would false positive a huge number of legit users.

Its pretty simple, you don't want to get flagged or banned then don't bot or spoof. This has been the same since botting and spoofing started.
Otherwise I find it hard to believe any of this is even halfway accurate in terms of their detection methods. If they are doing it server side I have a hard time finding any of this rumour which has been spread quite often to be credible.

In any case we will have to wait and see what Niantic does as they clearly have started flagging spoofers now and not just botters.

A lot of unsubstantiated claims here.

1) For the duration of the 'Equinox 2017' event, choose ONE city/area to spoof. DO NOT spoof anywhere else. Furthermore, load up your spoofing app/program BEFORE loading up Pokémon Go.

Why for the duration of the event? What's special about the event and spoofing?

2) If your spoofing location is not your local area, DO NOT load up Pokémon Go under ANY circumstances without spoofing to the area you have chosen.

Then what's the point of spoofing? I'm always traveling to different cities everyday without a problem.

3) DO NOT USE ANY BOT.
If someone claims a bot is safe, they are wrong, or they are outright lying to you. Do not pay for ANY bot.

Bots have never been safe, you can decrease the chances of getting banned by using good settings, but you could get banned today like you could Day 1 of the game.

4) Do not purchase an account from anyone. Every account that is for sale has a high possibility that the account has been silent-flagged server-side. This means that the account will be rendered completely useless in the future.

That's always been the case too, you'll find that warning stickied here on the forums since last year. Many sellers will give you a new account.

5) Do not capture pokemon from a large distance apart within a 24-hour period.

AFAIK nothing's changed from the 2-hour rule and most snipers have not gotten the warning, especially on iOS, it's mostly people spoofing and walking.

6) Do not use 'route-walkers', a.k.a. automated programs inside your spoofing apps for egg-hatching.
My source has confirmed that if Niantic suspects your account, they are looking for duplicate GPS coordinates. Route-walkers will be apparent to even the most inept staffer.

Gonna need some evidence of that source, if they truly stored duplicate coordinates the reports of warning messages would be much higher, especially for those on iOS using TutuApp and auto-walking, but no such warning reports exist of those people.

7) Do not use any program to help you catch Pokémon. This includes programs like 'touch-assist'. Niantic are experimenting with catch-screen-checks server-side where they will see exactly what touch pattern you did. Touch-assists will be identical, and will raise a red-flag.
Your accounts are currently at the most-risk they've been in Niantic's history.

Not many people use assistive-touch gestures since Pokemon are really easy to catch, and also there's not enough reports of anyone receiving a warning from using those to determine anything. Also going to need some evidence for you making the claim "Niantic are experimenting" as if you're part of their development team.
