Does it require root? If so there are easier and many many methods already out there.
If it doesnt, then this is a really good find.

What is shown is a rooted phone (magisk root aka. systemless root) that passes googles safetynet check. This means the pokemon app doesn't detect the root and therefore allows the app to run. The gps app itself is set as a system app, this ways you are not required to use any mocklocation settings.
What the video doesn't show and what seems to be the source of detection now is, hiding your real location ip-wise.
Niantic compares the origin of the ip address you login with the country your playing in, if this doesn't match -> you'll get flagged.
Therefore nowadays it is required to (beside having a magisk root + gps system app) use an ip address(proxy or vpn service) from the same country/area you are botting in.
Everything else is considered unsafe.
