I was wondering if anyone knew a good site that could teach me how to make games. Not like soemthing where I download a program and it does most of the work for me. Something like the way Blizzard makes WoW, but not that hard yet. Also, how does Blizzard make WoW?

blizzard made wow by lots of work. i could show you how to make a copy of wow just give me 5 year 2million dollars and a kick-ass team of coders programmers and lots of things that and with er.

I recommend flash to make games =P
It's nice and quite simple. On the other hand you can't do anything über advanced. Check out www.newgrounds.com if you dunno what flash is. Or just www.macromedia.com To download the demo/trial.

For the second link download it then you can read the README for what to do (basicly says: don't use the source codes provided for commercial use only for freeware games. go to "TutorialStartEng.html" ).

by 5 years of development lol. The best chance you have at making a game is going to college and studying it imo.

Game maker does pretty much EVERYTHING for you. I want to learn. I don't want to be 30 years old making games using Game Maker. I want to learn how to make things like WoW.(and yes i know it takes lots of people but like I want to know how to do all the codes and stuff)
