you CANNOT change stats, create weapons, create npcs, w/e on real servers. However, there is a neat trick you can do. lets say that the ID for twinblades of azzinoth are 25000. if you create a item on your private server and make its ID 25000 and delete the twinblade of azzinoth (forces you to overwrite) and make that item named "OMFG GOD" or something, and go back to the real servers, and lets say you saw someone with from what would look like to them "twinblade of azzinoth" and you looked at it and it would say "OMFG GOD". Its only what it looks like, it will not change stats. This has NOT been tested, so you may either end up with a crash or a D/C if you see someone with that certain item. If it does work and you want to get rid of it, simply repair WoW.
