What happend to the good old days? (My view on MMOwned today. And its past)

Where did they go?

I miss when I came to MMOwned, from Nogg-aholic. Nice people, great threads, best model editting guides ever concieved. Demonkunga was famous and hated by Nogg-aholic back then, Man... I miss that GM Island edit.

I left Nogg-aholic in the past because there was to many people that wanted us to "Spoon-feed" them how to get to where and how to get to GM Island.

Then I found MMOwned, nice quite community. Nothing wrong with it, days past by into weeks from reading my fill on guides for gold, model editting and hacking. Then I noticed my little Reputation counter, "I hate seeing this 1. If it stays at 1 something bad might happen." I thought over the course of a few weeks. I didn't bump it up from "1" untill I hit lvl 70 on Febuary 16th, 2007. Thus I posted my guide to Death's Door, which is true but happend in a string of much luck. That got me a whooping "9", Then I downloaded BWH, and started to post the CE Wallclimb Address for the programmers and leechers.

Now after some time away from MMOwned, my visits are slowing. The leechers are rising. Yet I dont want to leave a community I love, I come to the decision of staying or leaving.

I hope people (The oldies) will agree with me on this or try to pick at my bones to have me get much more cleared up or across.

What happend was that people flooded in with the guides and started really getting into the community once it became well known

but theres leechers because theres no good exploits around anymore.
the site should brighten up once wotlk comes out.

A lot of some of the best and most skilled members got banned, don't forget that.
Some of the reasons, was really lame, and some was due to people got Moderator
status, and then they could ban the people they didn't like.

There is no such thing as fair judging on mmowned.

i joined a while back and was i guess you could say a leecher but i learned so much and can agree ALOT Of muchers are here nowadays and all you see from them on forums are "HOW CAN I GET THIS" "I NEED THIS SEND ME" "OMG U FAIL"

I miss those days... I remember way back when I first got in the Bawx, there was only a few elites, I was active in Emu, and the Bawx was so much fun, gah...
