This has been busted by the Mythbusters, you can fold a piece of paper in half like she did in the video 11 times, although they did it with a HUGE piece of paper. The reason you supposedly can't fold it past 7 times is exponential growth. Each time you fold it, it gets twice as thick. When you fold it once, it goes to 2 layers. When you fold it again, it gets into 4 layers, then 8 for the third fold, and so on, until it reaches a whopping 128 layers on the 7th fold. How the Mythbusters did it was to make a gigantic piece of paper by combining 17 separate rolls of paper. They managed to fold it 11 times, as stated earlier, by using a lot of people to fold it to 7, then machines to fold it to 11. Stop this myth. Now.
