[Macro] Easy way to speak any language in raid, party, or guild

cool little macro ive found on the internet somewhere before

    Code:
    /script SlashCmdList["LANG"]=lang;SLASH_LANG1="/lang";function lang(msg) _,l,c,la = string.find (msg, "(%w+) (%w+)");SendChatMessage(string.sub(msg,l+2), string.upper(c),la) end

hit the macro when you log in, then you can type /lang guild common for example. its /lang [channel] [language] works for any language, great for testing translations

Holy ****. It works, I was able to talk perfect english with a Gnome, even thought I couldn't understand him. (I'm undead, and he was on vent.)

No, you cant speak from horde/ally BUT it is nice to do /lang party common/orcish (<<oppisite of your factions) and translate stufff like

ally yells: ss ee oo b fff d a zz
to horde looks like: me lo ve e ver y o ne (me love everyone)
and for a horde using /lang guild common they can test out what to yell on their alliance

joinixx, you just either type it in once you log in or if you want to make it again and again each time, set it to a macro and hit it once or twice.

Hi have been testing this macro extensively over the past few days with both members of my own faction and members of another. This is good for speaking dwarvish, darnassian, or gnomish in ur group guild or raid however the text needs to be formatted in a certain way. For example if a gnome says F*ck in gnomish everyone reads it as "grum" however one can not simply say "Grum" and expect the gnome to pick it up in gnomish. The same is true for the horde except in a different way. If u type /lang party orcish Me love you it shows u what it would look lke if they said that to you. However if u wanted to say me love you to them you would need to type something completely different
the only way i have found to counter this is if u MC the horde u can type "me love you" in orcish and they will understand. Which leads me to believe if two people got together on vent and made opposing faction characters and met up somewhere they could potentially find a way to use this to figure out how to speak effectivly with members of the opposing faction by running the same message through multiple languages and back again. if anyone is willing to make a horde on kalecgos or an alliance on ner zhul PM me and we could meet up on vent and try to work this out
