There is no malicious code. It is getting picked up because the exe has been obfuscated.

Virtually all active AV/Malware scanners automatically flag and quarantine exe's that are packed that it has never seen before. Obviously, this is going to be new every time.

This is not a new occurrence for hacks. It's not hard to exclude the exe from your scanners.

People are still using antivirus software in 2014?

SpyShelter, so sweet vs all kinds of loggers...it can stop all sleapstreamed shit in any modified open source tool/hack.
Scan PC once in a while with MBAM in order to make sure you haven't let any shitty application through, and you are done.

But yeah regarding the topic of development...Keep up the good work Coyl. PoE is a fantastic game but it's ****ing unplayable without HUD since I've tried it :-))
I bet you can't imagine how many of us, lurkers, download HUD and use it!

PS. A kill counter per map would be great, resetting on instance switch...This could give us actual insight on how many mobs spawn per map.

It MIGHT be possible to make a bot that reads what the HUD is displaying on the screen and depending on what the HUD is showing will determine whether the bot uses the portal to start a new instance but then the bot would have to read A LOT of information from the client itself telling the bot where to click for the portal and where the (New)button is to start the new instance and read files that the HUD is using to determine what the HUD is actually displaying and then tell the bot to stop if certain circumstances appear on screen.

It's a fair amount of work to be put into just a simple task of doing it yourself that takes maybe 20seconds to find an instance you want to run

for that kind of stuff you should go to Exilebot or exileBuddy or any of those Bots around.
and yes, its Possible (and was Possible since Evozer) just have to do it yourself or find someone to do it for you, i think.
in this case i completely Agree with Coyl. i would not implement such a bot.

I've got a request for you to consider.

The HUD text info xp dps all that. Even the menu button might look reeeaaal classy down in that u @ the bottom of the ui rather than it's top rightish position.

The major benefit of it being it's out of the way.

I can't see anything very well beneath the text in its current position.

I have not played in a while and just saw that this is the new thread because the previous owner had stopped support for it, thank you Coyl. I only ever used light+zoom+map and didn't care much for other features, will these 3 work on the 12th when the new Leagues start? Or do I have to go through these 40+ pages?

Immediately after patch, it's unlikely because of changes that happen during major patches. It's probable that you'll have to wait for Coyl to update it.

Oh that's cool, i'm sure he'll update it quickly(right?) then. I remember back when I used the cheat engine table hack it didn't need many updates, even when anarchy and nemesis started the old version still worked.

The more changes, the more time it will take to find new offsets.
Besides my own efforts to find updated offsets, I will accept any help with offsets, but will distribute the PoeHud only as an obfuscated binary, as decieded before.

That sounds fantastic, thank you for the effort, I have no idea how to find offsets but i'm going to try and learn via video guides before the 12th as they always seem to be in demand

Source code is no longer avaliable. This was made mainly to restrain development of 3rd party products (bots, autoflaskers, etc.) based on offsets discovered during analysis of Path of Exile binaries. The analysis takes a lot of time, and giving away its results for all no longer suits me.

The hud used to work for me before 1.2.4d, but now I DLed the new version, and when I launch up the hud I don't see it. Help?
