Confirmed, something easy to do on the side while at work.

WDs - Put some tanky gear on, run dogs + Gargantuan and Creeping Death (bonus: quetzalcoatl). Once he spawns throw up haunt + locusts + piranhas and alt+tab. I'm currently doing this at work in T6 without any issues. Slower runs than if you were playing, but still free loot in the background while working.

Just gave it a try, first four runs and got two legs allready, kinda shitty legs but still it works.

It does help a lot. Was doing it with my Wiz and had teleport with wormwhole rune as my right click and got it done every time.

When I go there, I dont get a checkpoint?? Besides that, how do u judge if its an exploit? i mean some ppl are jsut shit lucky

You have to do it in normal mode and have the quest the northwest gate in order to checkpoint there.

It's an exploit because blizzard "patched it" and its even in the notes, but you can still get around the whole him not dropping loot part.
