Install VMware Tools.
That should fix the problem.

I installed Vmware workstation 8 with 1GB of memory 2 cores for each VM. The guest is using Windows 7 tiny and that seems to work fine.
Have you tried powering down the virtual machine and then starting it again? That worked for me
im new here guys...i just have everything up but this thing dont start....we need to click on "num pad" on "+" key right? it doesnt work :S nothing happen

just dont "klick" it - activate the VM window you gona use and "hit" the key @ your keyboard
