2. Let npc tank for you and do min damage to qualify for xp.
3. Repeat.

I could not find any reference to this anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if some were using it though it is kinda obvious.

I have seen it many times in game. Also on multiple forums.

So when I saw the video, did not see people use it in sod.

Well what you have posted before is what many have done before. So hard to make original content on what many people are doing the same, but did not make a video.
I will try and find sources, as some date back over a decade ago. Due to many people would rush to that quest and use the NPC, to take down quest mobs.

Only difference you have, is you use it in SOD. People have used it in Vanilla since the beginning and well known. But this is the first time I have seen it used in SOD

While I can accept something as obvious as dropping and repeating a quest has probably been done before the rule in academia is "first to publication" . It is not a perfect solution but it solves a lot of issues. Youtube is not academia of course. In fact if you want to be successful on Youtube you should probably do what someone like Asmongold does and focus on reaction videos. I like to try and be original nonetheless. For some reason.
