This is a really handy tool but if you pvp a lot its kind of annoying to get poly'd out of ur morph, I miss the old mpq days

you still can change models through mpq editing, what the problem?

I tried the 4.0.6 thread(the most recent one I could find) and it doesn't work. The forums are so filled with clutter of things that do and don't work and I used to know how to race swap in bc but no idea anymore. I'm just frustrated

Yeah I understand I gotta disable the mfil and the patch limitation n stuff, I got that but maybe you can clarify this much for me. All these threads like the 3.3.5 and the 4.0.3 or whatever that already have the race swaps done, are they no good anymore or is there aa way I can make it work

VX2 thank you for your efforts but when you say things like "it's just a different patch system all you need to do is protect your blah blah blah..." a simpleton like myself has no idea what you're talking about. A detailed step-by-step instruction guide (download this, check this, click here, save this here, etc) leaving out all of the technical nonsense would save myself and all average computer illiterate folk a great deal of frustration... Is it possible to compose a guide like this anymore..?

I gave up on model editing for what seems like a year now and there is still not a single guide here that makes sense to me that I can find. This is so very disappointing.

sorry man, I can't understand you. that thread contain more than enough description of difference between old and new versions. also that thread contains a video sample where was showed a replacing one of race model step-by-step.
I can give you some info what I know or had found. I can help you to learn, perhaps show your mistakes, but I can't lead you by hand and do all what you want.
if you want to learn, then that info is more enough. if you just want to ask something like "I need something please make it for me" - then I'm sorry, I can't help you.

alright bumping this thread since it's the most recent i could find. VX2 i tried your method . Did all the stuff i had to but it simply doesn't work no errors nothing just the model doesn't change. Your thread states model editing in 4.0.3 but now we're 4.2.2 14545.

well i've tried with a race swap (goblin male to undead) even downloaded ready model edits for 4.0.6 but it didn't work. Well anyway it's 4.3 now so i guess it won't work either way
