Retail ilvl "relic dupe" being exploited in PvP to get r1/glad spots

Apparently this warrior Dekel: Dekel - WoW

Has been abusing the retail relic dupe bug posted a couple weeks ago that is deemed disabled/fixed. There is alot of evidence of this, such as his weapon ilvl fluctuating between 977 to above 1,000. All top players that have faced him are complaining he is doing 400k dps in dstance which is literally impossible as a warrior.

Does anyone know if this bug still works? I know that you can't put relics in while in pvp instance anymore but I was wondering if perhaps this person has found a way around it. Apparently his first r1 title he was abusing some sort of "execute/ms bug" in wod s1 so he is probably very well versed in exploiting.

If someone knows how it still works feel free to contact me if you don't want to post it on here haha. It must be something like in a instance where you can't use certain things. Thinking of maybe (R)BGs or M+ or something.
