I decided to create a new widget for MMOwned, mostly because I didnt like the old one I did anymore (can be found here: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/bots-p...ed-widget.html )
It works pretty much like the old one, except you can now change the color and the size of the "threads" (does only work on version 2, more on that further down).
Heres the front (note: i took this picture abit too early, there is now a refresh button aswell):
The above picture is also Widget 2, with the thread size set to minimum.
And here is the back:
It is the background color of the first picture which you can change, I think between 7 different colors.
To get to the options on the back, simply hold your mousecursor in the bottom-right corner, and click the small 'i' that appears. To refresh the feed, click the Refresh button (duh..).
To make this foolproof, this widget ONLY WORKS FOR MAC! Version 10.4.3 and up. And since we are on a Mac, the .zip file should extract itself when downloaded, so all you have to do is double-click the widget, and it should be installed.
The widget is based on MMOwneds RSS feed, meaning you cant choose to only display threads from one specific forum. It displays all the newest threads, across the whole board. It is here where I choose to make 2 widgets, Widget 1 that shows the most basic info - thread name, and time it was written. Widget 2 shows alot more of the thread, it shows pictures and everything the thread contains - this is quite messy though, so thats why I implemented that thing i talked about before, in the options (on the back) you can decide how much of a thread you want to be displayed.
Ah well, it is just a simple widget, maybe i didnt have to write that much about it. Anyway, here are the download links:
Widget 1 (simple version): MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
Widget 2 (more of threads shown): MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
They are identical in any other way, i just figured if someone of you wanted to see the contents of a thread within the widget, you may choose to do so. Otherwise its just to click the threadname, and it is opened in your browser.
Enjoy!
(oh btw, i know about the bug with the 'done' button on the back, not a biggy one. Just so that you dont have to tell me about it)
