If anything is being developed it's going to be low key and hard to find at least until a final product is done and then if it works expect to pay some money or something

What is about Pokefarmer?
Changelog 08/26/2016 (Build 117)
Fixed: Major changes to API
Changelog 08/27/2016 (Build 120)
Fixed: Minor API issues
Changelog 08/31/2016 (Build 122)
Fixed: Minor API issues
Does that mean that they fixed the broken API requests?

No, those fag.gots can't even code their own software without being skids and stealing from other open source software.

If it is open source are they really stealing?

It depend of the licence of the open source code. But since none of the bot have an actual licence, its more a moral issue if you dont credit your source.

Are there any bots with their own API? I know PMB is rewriting the API atm but I think it will take some time.

Stay tuned, don't give up. I'll release something, that used the 100% official API, early next week!

That would be good news... because as it is now, every bot has a huge risk of ending in a ban regardless of how "safe" and "humanized" you play ^^
I wouldn't mind paying a fee for a decent bot, even if you had to use it crazy humanized but with a decent API!

Maybe you're missing a point, even if one day we find a way to develop an API that perfectly mimic the Niantic one, they will just update their and we'll be ****ed again.
That's a mouse and cat game but you never had the advantage, Niantic has a huge past dealing with cheaters, botting is clearly dead on this game, if you expect to see a new API you're dreaming awaken.
Even Mila432 the first one who developed an API for botting shutted down her project due to high pressure from Niantic and legal process.
There is no hope for botting without being banned, deal with it.

They have a long past with hackers, and I've been playing Ingress as long as the game has been out. They can't stop cheaters, they just won't put the efforts needed as long as it doesn't go big. Milions of botted accounts did bring attention, a few bots working with a new API that can mimic gps data and is not easily flagged (paid bot), they won't care.
It's all about cost-benefit, if there's jus 1000 bots they won't bother wasting time and resources on them since they won't hurt the gameplay and it would be a huge expense to keep switching the hatch or things on their own game just for that matter.
Plus, there's many ways to build "auto-it" bots that work using the real APP and some simple screen-reading to keep playing for you... Those, we'll most likely see some anytime soon (Any kid can OCR-macro on android with some basic programig skills and Hiro-macro, for example...).
Bots won't die if people cares, but as you said, the kind of bots we had, are dead (ultra-complex, fast, and game-breaking bots? not gonna happen again for sure)

Yep i agree with that, but the future is dark for botting on this game, maybe when the hype will gone and the game would become more quiet we would expect to bot again but I doubt that we won't be banned.
