Banned, whats the path of least resistance/least janky way to play again?

So i got banned. Assumed it was for fish botting, the support team says it was due to wrongthink/wrongspeak in chat. I think theyre mixed up as I didnt even really talk outside my company and even within my company I didnt talk much.

Either way, the email was pretty clear they wont tell me shit, and they wont be discussing it further.

Its my understanding that you can create a new steam account and then re purchase but due to the synergy with amazon itself how does that work exactly? (edit: nm it appears you dont HAVE to link it to your amazon account)

is it possible to delete new world from my steam library (not hide, have it perma removed) and then re-buy on the same steam account? If not and I create a new steam account its my understanding you can use the same email address?

Will i still be able to link it to my amazon and twitch?

just trying to find out what side/where in the chain the ban comes from.

ooof its tied to hwid too? sounds like it may not be worth the trouble. changing hwid would muck up a fair amount of shit on my rig. figured/hoped it was purely the steam account.

Right now is not really necessary change the hwid, but maybe in future you can get flagged..

most of bots are pixel that arent detected right now, probally player reports

Yeah but also most bots are based on autohotkey and more and more voices pop up, that ahk can be detected, since people even got banned for afking with ahk and to be honest, I don't think players report people for just standing somewhere, then walking a bit and that's it. You've gotta be super bored to watch people long enough to really figure out, that someone is using a script, so I guess it's not unrealistic, they can detect it somehow and based on that flag you.

yea honestly im not sure. i dont want to call attention to any particular bot but i believe it was autoit based, not ahk based. that being said, even outside of the bot i run ahk on my pc 24/7 outside of gaming for a plethora of mundane things. So do a huge amount of people. I'd like to think they wouldnt ban based on ahk (or autoit) running.

like someone already mentioned, I dont think it was the bot. I dont think it was reports either. I watched it in almost perpetuity and was pretty well hidden. I would think it was something heuristics based.

Either way, I was enjoying the game quite a bit. I'm compelled to give it another go but if theyre banning for wild things willy nilly and perma, and theres a chance they'll use my old ban to ban my new account even if its 100% above board... may not be worth my time.
