[Question] MEfix crashing wow still? Help please

I downloaded the NightElf male --->UD male patch found on this site, got the newest version of MEfix and put it in my wow folder. (patch is in correct place and named correctly as well)

I run MEfix just as specified in the stick thread, and wow crashes as soon as it gets to the character screen but before any characters load...every single time.

Additionally, i took out the premade patch and followed an editing guide found on this site as well...And I get the same result.

Can anyone help me here? Am i overlooking something very simple or Is my problem more complicated?

The problem isn't the MEF or the Model Edits...you need to read the instructions MEF gives when you launch the exe.
When you get to the screen to put your Account and Pass hit the "End" button on your keyboard...then put your info in and hit enter, then hit the "Home" button before it loads your Character Select Screen

yes...Ive been doing that, consistantly....It crashes just before it loads up the character's. I don't think im doing anything wrong with the operation of MEfix

The 2 files I got with the premade patch were put in Programs\world of warcraft\dats and are named accordingly (patch-4.mpq and patch-5.mpq) and MEfix is put in the main folder, and ran from there...I dont know what is going wrong, and again im new at this.

try this...after u hit end and put ur info in, have 1 finger over the home button to mash it as fast as you can...then with the other hand press enter...then go at it lol
if that doesn't work i'm not sure what to tell ya....try deleting the MEF and download another copy of it...see if it works out
