Solo Wrath 5 mans for fun and Gold.

Hey everyone.

I have found that the Normal 5 man Wrath instances are quite easy to solo with my DPS spec'd Warrior.

In 5 man Dungeons, there are chances of the following drops:

Cloth - Great for selling on AH/Trade Channel.
BoE Blues - In Normal 5 mans there are plenty of BoE Blue drops that are specific to the instance eg. Palladium Ring in HoS Palladium Ring - Item - World of Warcraft
BoE Greens for DE/Selling/Vendoring.
Boss drops to vendor.
And much more!

I have also done a little Soloing of Heroic Trash in Pit of Saron for the chance of a Battered Hilt. Got to be careful here though. The casters with the Non elite adds should be killed 1st, then the Bone Giants, then the 4 packs of elites. The Dragon riders are quite tough so I usually only kill the mobs around the entry semi-circle area then reset.

Probably the best thing about soloing these is the fact that most players have ran though them with groups a number of times and know the shortcuts/NPC abilities etc.

Escape the daily grind of gathering/auctioning and try a change of scenery!

i used to solo pos trash with speedhack on my boomkin for a chance at battered hilt, was fun at first but after awhile it just gets to boring (maybe thats my patience)

I could maybe see any instance with a high amount of humanoids being good for a tailor, you'd get some really nice stacks but most tailors are clothys so would get smashed to bits :P

My dps geared bear can easily solo all of the trash (and i've done the bosses a few times for fun) in pit of saron. It's fun to do especially if you can get a 75+ who wants to pay to get early gear in there if you do the regular version.
