The Bijou Rush -: 50,000g every 10 hours (Server Dependancy)

Not sure if this has been posted before, did search - but found nothing. Anyway, here's my Bijou Rush mini-guide.

You're looking at nine different bijous: All of different colours, all with a standard gross drop rate of 2% (1-3%). This typically means, you'll have an 18% chance to grab a bijou (One in Five).

Killing five mobs typically takes around 30 seconds in Zul'Gurub, assuring you're in fitting raid gear.

Each pack of mobs will on average drop one bijou if we look at the statistics, and this means that you'll typically be grinding up to 60-70g every 30 seconds to a minute, dependant on your server's market.

Approaching 4.0.3a, probably coming at the start of next week, the market is becoming very versatile and a very very good area to tackle on the auction house.

Grinding 2 bijou's, plus travel time will take around a minute and a half (1:30) - Going by these stats, we will be making 1200g (20 Bijous in ~15 minutes).

Per hour, this will fetch on average 5000g for around 70-80 Bijous.

A full day's farming will, in accordance to how hot the Bijou market on your server is, will fetch 50,000g for 10 hours farming.

Remember not to kill bosses, just kill trash, reset and go again.

Common sense, but not everyone might know this. Since ZG is disappearing in Cata, most people want to raise their Zandalar rep before that happens.

Yea sure m8, but the demand is not that high to make 50K gold in 10 hour . you can stockpile those in AH but you wont sell large amounts of them in a day.

What exacly does raising rep give for this faction at 8-85 that they feel the need to raise it?

this is highly server dependant, on my realm bijous are 10-15g still, 20 on a good day. there's ahrdly any demand at all, people doesn't seem to give a flying fu** about zandalar here. I'm sure some realms are good, but claiming 50k is a bit harsh for a server dependant farm.

@rchy - you turn them in for reputation with Zandalar Tribe, and yes, it'll be a Feat of Strength in next patch (4.0.3a) when Zul'Gurub will be removed along with this faction and all the other Zul'Gurub achievements are turning into Feats of Strength (fishing Ghaz'ranka and killing Hakkar).

@Zolascius1 - indeed, they've been a nice moneymakers several time ago, but now they're selling for 5-6 g each on my server and to be honest, it doesn't worth farming them anymore. I only sell at AH the ones I get when I'm clearing my way to the 2 mount-bosses I farm every reset, so if on your realm they're being sold for 50g+, you're lucky

Had the idea to grab these a while ago, but seeing how there is no demand for them at all on our server, they are going for minimum @ ah, just because people want to get them of their hands. sad

I think Zandalar Tribe Reputation will be completely removed, so you'll no longer be able to raise reputation with Zandalar tribe once Zul'Gurub closes. Sell now!

I have found the best place in ZG for Bijous/Cloth is the Zombie Trolls and Gnomes around Jindo.

I don't recommend skipping the bosses. Easy 30-40 odd gold. And a chance for some cool looking items and Mounts off BL and Thekal. If your gear is good you cant kill them in a matter of seconds.

I can easily solo all the Bosses in ZG. For example, on my warrior:
I can kill Jindo before he ports you.
I can kill Panther before she spawns an add.
I can kill BL with Raptor up and without stopping during the gaze.

Oh, I can too. Just giving an example of how easy the are to kill now with current gear and DPS specs. Clarified in the post.
