Alright, so here's the thing: just before you're beginning to flame, i do not know if this is the right forum to post in, nor am i 100% knowledgeable on your server-prices on gems.

But here we go:
Since the new patch, 4.0.1, has made its entry, a lot of bugs and glitches has been found. This is probably not one of 'em, but it's a great trick about how you can make money by being first!

Okay. The 'exploit' goes so far:
The new honor system has granted us some points instead of the thousands we had before.
My status is so far:
I had 55k honor before the patch (+ - 5k), and they got converted into just about 2200 points.
Gems, that you can buy at the Jewelcrafter vendor was before: 7'500 - and now: 165


The gems has become much cheaper.

If you're a bit lucky, people on your server does not yet know this, which means; It's time for math.

55000/2200 is equal to 25. This means, that 1 point is the same as 25 was before.
7500/165 is equal to 45,45. This means, that 1 point is the same as 45,45 was before - When we're talking gems.

So if you're thinkin' the same way as i am:
This means that gems has become double as cheap as before!
Today, i could buy 13.33 gems.
Last week, i could buy 7.33 gems.
+6 gems!
So if you're fast enough and the price hasn't already fallen, go pick those extra gems up!

As stated before: I don't know if this is intended or not, but most of your server might not know yet! So hurry up!

There are two types of pvp points:
1) honor points gained via normal battlegrounds, world pvp, pvp dailes wtc. just like old honor
2) conquest points, gained via rated battleground and arena, its equal to old arena points (but its not just from arena)

Yeah but honor points are capped at 4k.

So you'll be able to buy like 1 piece of entry level pvp gear at 85.

This would take too long to make money. If you already have the honor and want to dump it on something other than wrathful go for it. But after your first daily win you average to about 30 honor a match. If that. So it would take about 5 and a half games for about 100g.

i just lol'ed about this, when you win you first dailie you get 90 honor + the amount you got by killing, flags turned in etc. after that you still get 45 for the win and extra points for flags, kills etc, so your not right mate, even if i won the first dailie i still get abot 90+ honor when i win the next match, most of the time i get 120 or so if its a good match otherwise i get around 90 so thats about 1 gem in 2 match, and 2 match cost me around an half an hour so its not really bad, hell its even great income for ppl that realy like pvp.

That's why you have to be fast - Or the price on gems will drop all over your server.

Ps: i made 2000g with 2200 honor points yesterday - in 45 minutes.
