Exploit for Holy Nova (Echo of Light) - Healing for over 2 Billion HPS

Howdy,

Never posted an exploit before, but this 4.0.1 patch seems really buggy, oh well.

Included below is something I worked out as a holy priest.

If you spam Holy Nova and have Althor's Abacus you get a HoT on you called Echo of Light.

If you keep spamming Holy Nova this doesn't drop off and exponentially increases over time.. 1-2 minutes... long as you have enough mana it keeps going up.

Healing 986393728 every sec.. you can even see this in the combat log when you do it.

What does Althor's Abacus have to do with it? That heal is from the holy tree mastery....

Mine got up to like 3400 and then went back down to 600 or so.. Not sure how you did this.

I can't get it above 100k hps, how did you get so high? I've got a full heroic ICC geared priest.

edt: Nevermind, just noticed the druids.

Looks like it caps at 20 billion, when you hit 21 billion it goes negative and doesn't heal at all.

If you don't have the Abacus you won't get very high, that may be your problem.

He has a druid inervating him and 3 other priests doing the glitch with him not really viable in any circumstance except pvp lol outhealing a team and killing em when they come in close.

I'd have to disagree about the not viable part.. you could do this inside a raid and have your whole raid stand as a group.. long as the HoT doesn't drop off, you keep getting healed for the insane amount (Long as you don't get 1 hit you will be fine).

I honestly think this can make quite a few fights in ICC very trivial.. I know it's almost at it's end but, yeah!

If you reforge all your gear to mastery and get the nova glyph, you can do it extremely quickly.. give that a shot next time.

I found also, if you have high enough mana regen, you can do it endlessly.. I have tried by myself and managed to get up to the 2 Billion mark myself.. just takes a while haha.

Also Note: If anyone heals you, the effect seems to drop off / Not work, not sure why..

I just did this on Valithria Dreamwalker in 25 hm and I completely DESTROYED the charts. It was ticking 300k....

Not sure if it was legal but whatever.
