has anyone noticed that if you are on a flight path and if you enter a bg or hc it looks like you dismount, well if you do this while flying over a place you havent discovered, you discover it found this out the other day and thought i would share, it is very handy on pvp realms to discover horde/alli dominated areas

Or you could ding 80, get a friend and explore everything, or just HonorBuddy it...

But yes, it's some sort of an exploit.

This "exploit" has dinged many a twink back in the day. I came pretty close one time >.<

You also need bad latency for this to work, so a lag macro/program would be your best bet to make the most of this (even though its fairly useless tbh)

But a majority of the time you wont be able to fly over a place you havent explored anyway because clearly if you havent explored the area you most likely have not been to that flightpath therefore it will not intersect with the area you are traveling through because there is no flightpath to piggyback off. I know it could possibly work with some areas but most of them it wont.

Its like having the dalaran flight path and the borean tundra one but you still cannot fly between them because you have none of the inbetweens.

nobut you can fly from lets say stormwind to ironforge and you will go through searing gorge if you have bin there or not :P

wait 40 mins (average time here)

once you can enter the bg, grab a flight to somewhere

now you have 30 seconds to get to a place that you haven't explored yet, and even if you do manage to get so far in such a little time, it doesnt reveal the whole zone, just a small part which is useless.

Nope, your not missing anything, you'd have to be very lucky for this to actually work for you. Also if you're not lagging enough, you could be right over the area you want to explore and nothing will happen. Its pretty useless tbh.
