[Engineer Griefing] Yet another way to kill your friends!

A few weeks ago I ran across a thread (Located here, credits to Vuljor: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...hole-taxi.html) that suggested that you could use [Wormhole Generator: Northrend] along with a passenger mount to teleport your friends around Northrend.

Now Blizzard has a funny sense of humor, the destination for the Icecrown teleport is on top of a very steep cliff. If you take one wrong step without mounting up, you plummet to your death. This is where we'll be killing your friends

First, equip your handy-dandy parachute cloak, and then invite your friend to the group. Tell him you know a cool new trick to teleport friends around or w/e. Put the wormhole down, mount up onto your passenger mount, and have your friend get in. Now click the wormhole, and select Icecrown. This will teleport you and your passenger to the steep cliff I mentioned earlier Immediately jump your passenger mount off the cliff, dismount/parachute cloak, and watch as your friend falls to a very unexpected death!

Now be safe kids, wouldn't want anyone getting hurt!

I tested it with my motorcycle, maybe I incorrectly assumed it would work with every passenger mount, I will test it later today with a mammoth.

Update: I retested it with my Traveller's Tundra Mammoth and it did not work. So far I can only confirm it works with the motorcycle, if anyone can successfully port with other passenger mounts please list them!

hey there,
i was the guy with the wormhole taxi thread you mentioned earlier.
and just here to confirm, every passenger mount works! (personally confirm:mechano hog, grand black war mammoth) others confirmed in my thread.
ONLY restriction is: you have to be in northrend.

First off thanks for responding, I looked for your thread and couldn't find it to give credit when I first wrote this, updated now with credits to you!

And @ bold, that must be why my mammoth test didn't work, I did it from within the Obsidian Sanctum instance, instead of Northrend. So it sounds like this won't work as a way out of instances, but only from a to b within northrend.

Haha nice! Reminds me of a guy who killed few guildies by dropping them in Ulduar times, but with Engineering it's possible to do anywhere. Cool!
