[Release] My XYZ (3.3.3)

Current version : 1.1.1 For patch 3.3.3 Build 11685

A simple XYZ style hack, to nudge your self through walls or doors or something completely different.

currently it is using static directions, (north east south west), but I will probably upgrade it tomorrow once I am not tired :>

It will automatically choose the wow process you are playing (using) if you have more than one instance of wow running, so you can easily tab between multiple wow processes and it will work out of the box




Controls
Numpad7 = Up
Numpad9 = Down

Numpad8 = Forwards
Numpad4 = Left
Numpad5 = Right
Numpad2 = Backwards


Instructions

1. Download and then extract anywhere
2. Start World of Warcraft as Administrator (Right click -> Run as Administrator)
3. Alt+Tab out and start the XYZ as Administrator as well
4. It should work!
5. Now you can try playing around with the poke speed

1.1.1 : Cleaned up the code a great deal, should be less error prone now, also changed the textbox for poke speed to a numeric control!

1.1.0 : Nudges are now character relative, added configurable poke speed

I have only tested it on my own machine (Windows 7 x64), so I can not guarantee that it will work, but feel free to post errors if you find some!

I currently have it working on my Windows 7 and a virtual machine running XP SP3, mind posting the exception?

and if you are playing on US, it might be that new 3.3.3a patch, i have had no chance to update yet since we are yet to receive that patch in Europe :<

I know this is completely irrelevant but, c# ONLY WORKS on windows machines right?

I'm studying c++ (still stuck on the console stuff) and I know that it's tough to make a gui for c++.

You can actually run .Net applications on both Mac and Linux if you stick to the features that have been ported to Mono.

Also, it is not that hard to do GUI's in c++, there are even some really nifty frameworks that makes it easier, such as QT

How do I check the current framework I have? And if I have to download the new service pack, it won't delete anything, right?

you can check it in the control panel, and the .NET framework is backwards compatible, so installing a newer one will not ruin anything for other programs.

Updated first post with version 1.1.0!
now nudges are relative to the character rotation (left, right, forwards, backwards) and you can configure the poke speed! with this setup i got the poke speed all the way down to 20, which is almost running speed!, i also updated the youtube video, i use 35 for poke speed in the video though, because recording hits my fps and makes the delay bigger, so play around with the poke speed and see how fast you can make it go! it limits between 20 - 200, shorter is faster
