My estimates at the time were based on 2 30 minute sessions I did on my druid with swim speed increase. Both runs I made 23g and 26g respectively in 30 minutes. (This includes Big Iron fishing pole money).

He is on the docks but doesn't have quest markers above his head, just have to speak to him.

Played this game for 10 years, and somehow never managed to be good at making money.

Even if this was a 5g / hour, it would still be profitable for me.

It's definitely not 50g+ even as a druid with belt and potions and for people who are not druids it's not really worth it. I did at most 3g an hour without any competition and with belt and potions.

You are doing something wrong then because even with 2-3 deaths and afk waiting for mana I can still manage 15+g an hour easily and that's using a priest

I agree on this one, i had 20g when i started and got shut down now due to server restarts, i now have 56g and well on my way to getting 100 for my mount. I am also a priest.

how did u manage to only loot 30 fish in an hour??? u must have a horrible route. Im a rogue with no belt pr potions and i managed to make 14g+ an hour with competition 3 different times already.

this is easily the best way to make gold atm.

7g for an hour's work. 61 fishies. two other players farming the area as well, but everyone kind of just stayed to their own areas, and there was always a spawn coming up.

now still, thats not bad, but 55g+/h?

Either show your magical 55g/h route, post a time compresed vid where you make 55g in an hour, or i'm callin shenanaigans on 55g/h lol

Including the sales of the fish he rewards for turning it in, I managed 34g/hr as a warlock with the speed belt and leaving dots on the mobs (VW tanking them), and coordinating a path. It would have honestly been more g/phr if I didn't have a hunter and mage trying to compete with me and my literal need to never stop outside of opening cages. If you have a layer to yourself as a warlock with the belt, there's a very clear path that allows you to be better at this than anyone else.

"Well known" yea I guess for Vanilla players... since it got hotxifed in TBC, not really a memorable one.

Oh and thanks again OP I'm sitting at 95g at level 35, had 80 shelfish an hour, 1-2 Big Iron fishing pole an hour (sell for 1g each) and alot of fun an hour for the semi-competition !
