Buying gold through AH. Safe? only 20-50g at a time??

if i buy 20-50 gold a week. each time is 2 AH listing per.
(2 10g sales......2 25g sales)

what are chances of being caught? i know the AH wont be problem but are there other things? anyone ever have or know of someone been banned by this method/doing so?

I know 500-1k g purchase being sent my mail is iffy but AH is safest no?

will they ban or only remove gold? if u get from a known gold seller your at risk correct?

Blizzard will probably be able to see what's going on, if they want to. Buying gold is never safe, and you must accept the risk if that's what you want to do.

If you, as an example, put some trash/vendor items on AH for a ridiculously high amount, and the buyer of these have the tendency to buy these expensive, shit items from many players it would most definately flash a red light.

I'm not an expert on the subject, but I have bought my fair share of gold over the years both from big sites and individuals. Personally, I have never even received a warning for it but I never expect not to. The risk is ever-present!

My bet is that they would either remove gold and ban you, or just remove the gold and give you a warning (depending on if you've had any earlier offenses or not).

ok basically figured all that. thats why i was gonna do 50g split between 2 AH buys. one 40 g other 10. on a green boe not trash. not a crazy amount of gold nor a grey trash item. the few ppl ive seen who got caught got gold removed not banned so i think ill be ok

sounds sarcastic? i figured only time they do anything is if your buying off people who use cracked/scammed accounts to deliver the gold. but if its hand farmed i dont see how they could tell. already made 2 purchases and everything was fine

As far as I know they only ever ban sellers. It might be different for classic but generally the only thing they will do to a buyer is send them an in game mail warning about buying gold and remove some or all of the bought gold. Even if you buy gold after this warning they generally do not ban you. With classic it may be different, as we have seen 30 day suspension for account sharing and stuff so it seems they are more strict.

Blizzards ban policy on gold buying/selling is "Never hit the buyer, always hit the seller"

yea figured that. as a buyer your still paying blizz, the seller if even caught is only if bot/crackd account they penalize

buying gold has been super safe imo. Most I bought before was 900g at once, through the mail and it was fine.
