Classic PvP System Confirmed

Blizzard announced their new and improved 6 phase content plan about a month ago but what it was missing was PvP. Today in a blue post by Bornakk we got the fleshed out PvP content plan Blizzard plans on rolling out with Classic WoW.

Key points:

Phase 1

• No PvP System on launch. You will be able to World PvP and no dishonorable kills will be included so you can gank NPC's free of charge (RIP Quest Givers and Auctioneers)

Phase 2

• When Dire Maul comes out so will the Honor System and PvP Rank Rewards. (Dishonorable kills also get added)

Phase 3

• Right when Blackwing Lair comes out so will Alterac Valley (version 1.12) and Warsong Gulch

Phase 4

• Arathi Basin comes when ZG comes

Phase 6

• World PvP Objectives in Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands when Naxx comes out

Overall this is a great PvP system. You might want to hit 60 before Phase 2 because people who are 60 are going to be itching for PvP once they can get rank ups from World PvP. Also the Rank Rewards that come out in Phase 2 are the 1.12 versions of rank rewards so this is giving people really strong weapons really early on and is not true progressive itemization on PvP gear

In Phase 2, will getting the R14 be much easier at first or are we still talking about 10hrs+ a day to grind the system? After the first two weeks of launch, I will no longer play 18 hours a day (took holiday out).
More like 2 hours a night during the week and up to 6 hours for Sat/Sun.
