Currently a mage as my main, still deciding on an alt. I do not mind what faction I play on, I will be running a guild and it seems like most of us want Alliance, so yea, Mage on Alliance for now with a TBD alt.

Priest + Warr + Druid + Pala
Not sure which one first yet, thinking druid at present.

druid is a fast leveler, would be smart to start with them!

I guess, will go with it I guess, good to be 60 asap to make the mega gold I suppose to help support the others.
Edit: playing alliance, since paladins dont work so well on horde side, and non NE druids suck.

I wanted to play the same class I've always played in wow, hunter but I was told it was not that good overall in classic?
so mage or something op instead.

Hunters are great in classic pvp and one of the top dps until later raids I think. They are also super good at leveling.
I will probably play hunter or mage but non-fire mage is pretty boring in classic. Oh and probably level a warrior for tanking. I will play horde!

I'll probably go hunter. They're easy to level, good in both PVE and PVP. And I also enjoy rolling on all kinds of gear and the backlash that I get for doing it. It will be most enjoyable, yes.

hunter is fine. A hard counter to druids in pvp, fun in bg pvp, not the best at 1v1 pvp. Great at pve and farming . Falls off in like aq40 and naxx but not enough that you wont get invited if you have a guild

For sure I will go for mage! Fast leveling with frost! Good DPS and my class from Vanilla and BC.

I'm SUUUPER excited for Classic, you have no idea!
I started playing shortly after WoW was first released when I was 13 years old and really had very little idea what I was doing.
Despite that, I managed to clear most of AQ40 on my hunter and was really good at it. With a few exceptions (like I was partial to meleeing mobs at one stage just because I had some badass fistweapons).
Best time of my life and this is the first time, since WOTLK, that I'm willing to actually commit / sacrifice RL to get seriously into raiding again.

I'll be rolling a Night Elf Hunter (I used to be Dwarf) with the primary goal of getting the Rhok'delar Longbow and Lok'Delar Stave of the Ancient Keepers again. These were iconic Classic Wow Hunter "bragging rights" items which.
As Kenneth says, Hunters tend to be really good in the beginning of raiding but then become one of the worst classes as you reach AQ40 and Naxx. The main reason being is that pet damage doesn't scale very well (or much at all) with gear.
There's also a lot of controversy on beta at the moment, it seems, because of what they call the Leeway mechanic overlapping with hunter's Deadzone. I'm not going to explain it now but you can read more about it here. Hunter deadzone will always be an issue, making them quite a skillful class to play, but I hope that Leeway will be improved / reduced on live.
Other than that, I'm torn.
I'd really like a rogue to world PvP with, so this will probably be my 1st alt that I'll level. Druid (due to being so difficult and unpopular to play is also attractive). Maybe eventually a priest since I've really gotten into playing them in Legion and BFA.

Rogue, horde. Cant wait to stun lock and kill. Leveling might not be the fastest but who cares!

well, I played Mage on Vanilla. TBC and Lich. I will go for Mage again. IMBA DPS, Fast Leveling and Good PvP as frost.
