Did Blizzard add blink through wall protection?

I keep trying to blink through the wall to get above Ironforge, but the moment I do it succesfully, I DC. Then when I log back in it immediately teleports me to in front of the gates of IF.

Is this anti blink through wall protection Blizzard added, or is it something else causing it?

not anti-blink specifically, but there's out of bounds triggers that teleport you. Most I've encountered have been around IF

Soo you know what's weird? I tried sheeping myself through using my second account. When my sheeped character went through the wall, it didn't DC until after the sheep wore off. I wonder why that is

in some places this does happen, that includes classic and retail. however there are places where you can still blink through things as you would normally. its just finding the right spots that don't have those nasty teleport triggers. and sadly in most cases they are unavoidable. only way to not get teleported out when in a teleport trigger area is to be in offline mode as far as i know. there may be another way to avoid them other than offline mode or going around them that im unaware of but thats the best advice i have. if its not to much to ask can you post a pic of where you are trying to blink or poly through? i may give it a look and see if i can come up with something for you. been looking for stuff to do.
